Black Screens

“We are providing a soundtrack for the individual in the masses; we are the antidote for glamour lifestyles; coded language for self-reflection and meditation.”

WHAT'S NEW?

Black Screens Releases First Single, Sweeter Than Ever
(Ft. Sun U)

Atmospheric trip-hop project Black Screens released their first single “Sweeter Than Ever (Ft. SUN U)” on May 24, 2019.

The song thematizes the desire for a human touch in a society increasingly associated with the feeling of alienation and loneliness.

“It’s an intimate song in which the subject yearns for someone’s attention just to feel alive for a brief moment, but the video serves as an antithesis to one’s need. We get a whole another dimension in which we see the difference between the desire and the reality that separates lovers.” concludes SUN U.

“The people who listen to their music are the center of the story… Black Screens isn’t concerned with identifying as individuals, but rather their entity as a whole of what they represent, cinematic music-making.”
